A new publication by SDF Alliance member the Good Homes Alliance examines the thesis that a positive ‘tipping point’ has been reached when financial opportunity and the imperative to reach net zero by delivering sustainable buildings coincide.

The Green Shift – The existing financial incentives for higher environmental performance of new homes asks if we are now at a point where existing financial incentives provide high levels of environmental sustainability in ways that are financially advantageous for all stakeholders – and if this route is now the most financially viable option.

The report is authored by Rafe Bertram, and is an outcome of the work of the Finance strand of the GHA’s Build Net Zero Now campaign. The Sustainable Development Foundation is a lead sponsor of the campaign.
