This month we welcome new Associate Kate Brown as our Head of Special Projects. She brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing and strategic development, and has worked for the last four years in sustainable construction. She co-founded Fab-Hab Project which was shortlisted in the ASBP annual awards, and consults on domestic retrofit and low-energy modelling for homeowners and their architects. She also teaches on sustainable buildings and climate change at both Oxford Brookes University and the University of Westminster, and is launching a carbon literacy training programme for small businesses in the construction sector. Kate will be managing our programme of activity in the run-up to COP26, working with Jon Bootland on SDF’s strategic programme development, and managing marketing and events activities.
