Sustainable Development Foundation is a UNECE Centre of Excellence for High Performance Buildings. Our new position paper highlights how we work across the SDF Alliance organsations to deliver against ten performance indicators, and show what’s deliverable, right NOW to make buildings fit for the future.
We’re very excited to announce that on 3rd November at COP26 in Glasgow, SDF became one of the first UNECE International Centres of Excellence for High Performance Buildings, helping advance the rapid transition to high performance buildings in support of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Accord.
We held our inaugural lecture on Friday 2nd July, in memory of the late Neil May MBE.
Neil May was an inspiration to many and helped shape the development of many of our SDF Alliance partners: the ASBP, the Good Homes Alliance, Passivhaus Trust and STBA.
This month we welcome new Associate Kate Brown as our Head of Special Projects. She brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing and strategic development, and has worked for the last four years in sustainable construction.
Sustainable Development Foundation is pleased to announce its new partnership with SuperHomes, which is coordinated by the National Energy Foundation.
Building on the success of its existing network of 200 pioneering SuperHomes, the relaunched network will aim to support the development of one million SuperHomes by 2030.
