Sustainable Development Foundation is pleased to announce its new partnership with SuperHomes, which is coordinated by the National Energy Foundation.
Building on the success of its existing network of 200 pioneering SuperHomes, the relaunched network will aim to support the development of one million SuperHomes by 2030.
By kickstarting a programme of home retrofit, the SuperHomes network will help transform the UK towards net zero carbon. The network will enable delivery of high quality transformations of existing homes in the UK, by bringing together homeowners, landlords, housing professionals and experts to share knowledge and best practice.
The Sustainable Development Foundation has supported SuperHomes to develop a rating system that will minimise climate change impacts and maximise the comfort, health and well-being of occupants. The SDF will also bring its expertise and knowledge across a wide range of themes, including: net-zero, heathly materials, retrofit practice, mitigation of summertime overheating, and performance in-use.
